HYDROCOOL is a lightweight and easy-to-use cooling vest. Simply soak the vest under water for 3 minutes, gently squeeze out excess water and enjoy body cooling for 6-8 hours. Thanks to the innovative HyperKewl™ PLUS material, the vest absorbs and slowly evaporates water. HyperKewl™ PLUS technology works by absorbing water into the material, which is located between the waterproof inner lining and the ventilated outer fabric. As air flows, the natural evaporation process creates a feeling of gentle cooling. This lightweight and non-toxic material can be washed in the washing machine without fear of losing its properties. The vest is equipped with a front zipper and the EvoLink system, making it easy to wear and connect with a SHIMA jacket.
Cooling technology
The HYDROCOOL cooling vest will allow you to enjoy riding to the maximum even on extremely hot days. When you take it with you on a motorcycle trip, you don't have to worry about high temperatures. This is thanks to the use of HyperKewl™ PLUS fabric. This material absorbs water and then gradually evaporates it. Preparing the vest for use is extremely simple and quick. Just put it under water for 3 minutes, then squeeze out the excess and gently wipe the inside. Done! Now you can enjoy a pleasant feeling of coolness for up to 8 hours (cooling time depends on the air temperature). When combined with the selected SHIMA jacket model, the temperature inside it will drop by up to 8 °C. HyperKewl™ PLUS technology makes your clothes stay dry, and you can enjoy riding even on hot days. Put on the HYDROCOOL vest and let it do its thing !
Get connected
You can pair the HYDROCOOL vest with your jacket thanks to the EvoLink system. This is, to put it simply, a system for connecting layers. This innovative technology allows you to connect additional SHIMA accessories with different models of SHIMA jackets. Thanks to the belt loops, you can do it easily and quickly, almost intuitively. In addition, you can use the HYDROCOOL vest not only while riding two wheels. It will also be perfect for other outdoor activities. And it is so thin and light that you can easily put on a top layer on it - it will fit under both the jacket and a body-hugging suit. Remember that in order for it to fulfill its role to the highest degree, it should be close to the body.

This returns policy is implemented at the sole discretion of Cotter Motorcycles Dublin: You must include the completed returns note ( get it here ) with all returned goods. All returned goods must be in the same condition as sent and in original packaging provided. All returned goods must be sent back within 14 days of receipt, any returns received after this time may be rejected or be subject to 15% handling charge. Responsibility for non-receipt of returned items rests with the sender. Special order items are non-refundable & non-returnable unless they are DOA. Any ‘damaged on arrival’ (DOA) goods or consignment shortages must be reported by telephone immediately (no later than 24 hours of receipt of delivery) and full details of the consignment supplied at the time of reporting. Failure to report within this time limit may mean that the goods are not treated as DOA. DOA goods must be returned within 7 working days of delivery. A 15% restocking fee will be charged on all returned goods that were supplied correctly but are no longer required (not DOA goods). Any goods incorrectly addressed by Cotter Motorcycles Dublin will be re-sent with no carriage cost payable by the customer involved once the error has been accepted by us. Returns are not available on goods sold under special terms; e.g. end of line, discounted, promotion or special order items. This policy does not affect the statutory rights afforded to consumers.
